Cancellation / Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair while also considering the unique nature of operating a small family business. Refunds depend on both the timing of your cancellation and the booking platform used.

 

For direct bookings made through our website:

30 days or more prior to arrival date

  • A full refund will be issued, less a 5% fee to cover credit card and administrative costs.

14 to 29 days prior to arrival date

  • A 50% refund will be issued, less a 5% fee to cover credit card and administrative costs.

13 days or less prior to arrival date

  • Unfortunately, cancellations made within 13 days of the arrival date are non-refundable.

 

Additional Terms:

  • All refunds are processed in USD and will reflect the exchange rate applicable on the day the refund is issued.

  • Rates for your stay are charged in US dollars.

  • Guests are responsible for any fees charged by their bank or credit card provider, including foreign transaction fees when booking from outside Belize.

 

We recommend that guests consider purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected changes to travel plans.

For Bookings Made Through Third-Party Platforms (e.g., Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.):

 

Cancellations and refunds for reservations made via third-party booking platforms are subject to the cancellation policy selected on that specific platform at the time of booking.

 

Please refer to the cancellation terms provided on your chosen booking site, as they may vary depending on the platform’s policies and rules. Any refunds will be processed directly through the respective platform in accordance with their terms and conditions.
